I did some recreational gymnastics as a teenager,

and decided to revisit this very fun form of exercise

shortly after my 30th birthday at SCAT's Gymnastics.

This image was actually shot in the summer of 2002.

I was itching to show off a little,

and the soft sand provided a safe landing zone

if I messed up.

So I told my then fiancée Carolyn to "Watch this!"

and proceeded to do a standing back flip.

She said, "Oh my God!  Let me get the camera! 

Do that again!"

So this is back flip number two.  It was fun!
